Squares Across The Border was established in 1983 through the dedication of
Art Smith who commuted from Seattle to teach the classes, and Carol van Camp
who gave and continues to give never-ending support.

Our club consists of over 100 members, dancing levels Basic through C3A. We hold monthly, all-level club dances between September and May as well as get-togethers through the summer. Our club is fortunate to have world-renowned caller
Anne Uebelacker, as well as Grant Ito for its club callers/instructors.

Squares Across The Border is a proud member of the International Association of
Gay Square Dance Clubs. We had the pleasure and privilege of hosting both the 7th annual convention of the IAGSDC® in April 1990, Northstar Promenade,
as well as its 18th annual convention in April 2001, Make Magic.
